Stepped Concrete Sleeper Retaining Wall
A multi-tier concrete sleeper retaining wall built to reclaim a steep residential block, creating level usable lawn and garden space for a family home.
The Challenge
The block had a severe slope with active soil movement and poor water run-off, making the rear yard unusable and putting pressure on the existing boundary.
The Solution
We engineered and built a stepped concrete sleeper wall with galvanised steel posts and sub-surface drainage, holding back the earth and creating a level platform laid with fresh lawn.
